The Eva top is a tight fitting mockneck with bustier detailing in the front.
The exposed seams of view A give it a edgier look while the binding detail of view B makes it more subdued.
Both designs bring a new twist to the beloved basic that is a mockneck.

Recommended fabrics: knits or jerseys with at least 60% stretch (Something with at least 8% elastane and two way stretch is the best option).
The pattern is currently available in the sizes 34 to 48. I’m aware of how not size inclusive it is but I’m still learning about grading for bigger sizes so please bare with me!
Oh, you want to know why this one is called Eva? The design is inspired by Evangelion. I feel like an humanoid robot when i wear this one which i find pretty cool.
There’s a video tutorial available: https://youtu.be/NwjC09a75y4
After purchasing, you can find the link to download both the pattern and the sizing guide in your orders. After that, just print it and get to sewing! Have fun!

This pattern was my first exposure (haha) to exposed seams as detailing, and I really like it! I like the shapes she created more than the exposed seam itself, and opened up a realm of possibilities for me. Piecing the pattern pieces together in a design software also gave me a great mock neck stretch bodice block. Will probably use this pattern to hack many more items in the future because the fit on my body is awesome! When I used a two way stretch material I had to bring down the bust line 1″, but that’s not a deal breaker whatsoever (I can use the pattern as is for a 4 way stretch material). Thanks so much 🙂

I absolutely love the cut on this top and have made 3 already but have a few more coming. Short sleeves are ideal for summer and I’ve also made one in a thicker rib and long sleeves for autumn/winter.
The first one I made was in a size 44 with my bust=100 cm and waist=80 cm, while this did fit, it was just a bit tight for me (might have to do with the fabric though). I sized up to a 48 (biggest size) and this was a much more comfortable fit with some more ease on the seams as well.
